Event
Everyone deserves to experience live music and we’re constantly working on ways to improve the festival to create an accessible and inclusive environment. You can find all of our accessible info on the accessibility page here but if there is anything else at all that we can do to make your time easier at the festival, please let us know by getting in contact with us at accessibility@kicksentertainment.com.au
The below list of banned items applies to all Spilt Milk House Party locations, including: Gold Coast, Newcastle and Perth.
- bags larger than 20cm x 30xm (A4)
- alcohol (other than where purchased at the Event)
- illegal substances
- weapons of any kind
- glass of any kind (including perfume bottles)
- cans, aerosols, containers and metal water bottles
- eskies or hard-cased cooler bags
- liquid of any kind
- creams over 110mL (this includes sunscreen over 110mL)
- make-up in glass containers (anything not in a glass container is OK)
- prescription medication without the label showing your name that matches your ID
- loose medication (original sealed prescription meds are ok but will be subject to review by qualified medical staff – please note! This takes time upon entry)
- video and audio recording devices, including GoPros, selfie sticks & drones
- professional still cameras (small cameras ARE allowed, fits in your pocket? It’s OK!)
- broadcasting or transmission equipment
- electronic tablets measuring greater than 170mm diagonally
- animals (with the exception of service or assistance animals, such as Guide Dogs)
- promotional material of any kind including flags
- vapes & e-cigs with more than 110ml liquid
- doof sticks, totem poles or umbrellas (please use a plastic poncho or a raincoat instead)
- food or drink (unless required due to a pre-existing condition which is supported with medical evidence).
- Gang-related masks, headwear, or helmets
- Large spiked wrist or neck bands, spiked or studded belts;
- Chewing Gum
- Walkie talkies
- Glo-sticks and other such illuminating objects;
- Permanent marker or felt type pens;
- Musical instruments including Horns, trumpets, sirens or other noise making devices;
- laser pens or pointers
- skateboards and rollerblades, hover-boards, scooters, bicycles, and other personal motorised and non-motorised vehicles (excluding mobility aids)
- Unauthorised solicitation or marketing materials (e.g., handbills, flyers, stickers), or promotional material of any kind including banners, posters and signs
- Flags or flagpoles of any kind
- Flares, Fireworks & Sparklers (or any other similar flammables)
- All unapproved unmanned aerial systems (UAS) or drones unless expressly authorised
- any other items determined as dangerous by Security or Event Staff
- A separate rule regarding the ability to bring water into the event applies only to Spilt Milk House Party Newcastle 2024. This is listed below:
- Patrons are permitted to enter with a limit of one (1) sealed 600mL PET bottle of water, per person, except when there is a ‘Full Decant’ policy in place for any given Event
Spilt Milk House Party does not condone the use of drugs and we ask all our fans to abide by drug laws. Illicit substances are not welcome within the festival.
There are strictly no pass-outs during Spilt Milk House Party, so please plan ahead. Once you’re in, you’re in! If you have any concerns about this policy please email us at accessibility@kicksentertainment.com.au to chat to our team about your requirements.
There are lots of things to do, eat, see, use etc but we’ve listed the main facilities which will be available on the day below:
– Bathrooms

– Sunscreen (from first aid or the info tent)
For purchase:

– Food and snacks
First aid tents will have most over-the-counter medication available such as Panadol, aspirin, antihistamines as well as sanitary items for you to access inside the event.
Spilt Milk House Party is strictly an 18+ event.
DO: bring your valid and current ID.
DON’T: bring a photo, screenshot, photocopy or illustration (no matter how good).
Without valid and current ID, you’ll be left on the wrong side of the Spilt Milk House Party fence. Physical IDs including a driver’s license, government-issued passport, or Australian government-issued proof of age card are good to go.

Perth
Gold Coast lost property will be available at the info tent on the day. All uncollected items will be left on site the following day for pick up and then handed over to local police.
Newcastle lost property is held at reception during an event. Please email admin@nec.net.au after the event for any enquiries.
Perth lost property is held at the info tent on the day. Please email pmo@bgpa.wa.gov.au after the event for any enquiries.
Check socials closer to event day for specific lost property info.
If you need to bring in prescription medication to the festival, you’ll need to make sure it’s in its original packaging with the dispensary label matching the name on the ID of the ticket holder. Please bring your medication through the accessible lane on the day for the medical team to review. We advise only discussing your medication with the medical team. If you are talking to security or front entry staff, please ask them to direct you to the medical entry point.

You’ll be able to grab Spilt Milk House Party and artist merch from the merch tent on the day as well as online before and after! Keep an eye on socials for the store link.
The set times will be released closer to the event day! (pls don’t inbox me about them I’ll cry)
Smoking is allowed in certain areas. Please keep non-smokers in mind and don’t smoke anywhere outside of smoking areas. A staff member can advise you where to find these.
Reminder: vapes and e-cigs that contain more than 110mL of liquid are not allowed inside Spilt Milk House Party.
18+ Photo ID
Spilt Milk House Party is an 18+ event. Please bring a valid photo ID.
Credit/Debit/Phone Wallet
We’re 100% cashless and 100% tap and go! So bring your cards and phone wallets because you won’t be able to spend any cash.
Plastic Water Bottle
Always stay hydrated! You can bring in your own plastic water bottle to fill up at the free water stations around site. Make sure it’s completely empty when you come through though.
Backpack or Bag
Bags must be no larger than 20cm x 30cm, which is around the size of an A4 piece of paper.
Food
You are allowed to bring food items in only if you have a medical condition that requires this – come through the accessibility entry lane on the day and let our team know! In this case, food will need to be sealed prior to entering the event site. Otherwise, there are a variety of food options that cater for most dietary requirements (vegan, dairy free, gluten free, vego etc). There will be something for every palate and you may just try something so good, you’ll go back for thirds.
Skincare & Makeup (under 110ml and in plastic)
Any liquids over 110ml or any glass will be disposed of at the front gate so if you need to bring in your pieces to protect or touch up your skin, make sure they are in small, plastic containers!
Small Still or Film Cameras (or just your fancy ass phone camera)
Small still or film cameras are totally fine, but any professional still cameras or video and audio recording devices – including GoPros and drones – aren’t allowed in.
Sanitary items
There’s been some confusion about this previously and we want to make it abundantly clear that tampons, pads and menstrual cups are all allowed into Spilt Milk House Party. If you haven’t brought any in but end up needing some once you’re inside the event, our first aid partners will have free sanitary items available to you! You’re able to dispose of these inside the toilets on site.

Other
Media accreditation will be given to approved members of the media who represent recognised media organisations. Freelance journalists and photographers will be considered for accreditation if working on behalf of a media organisation. Freelance applications will need to be referenced by editors/producers. Social media influencers will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Media accreditation will open later in the year.
Access-wise, media will generally have access to the pit at each performance stage for the first three songs of each artist. Some artists do not allow pit access to media. Strictly no flash photography and media must follow the direction of security and event staff at any given time otherwise your pass may be removed. There is absolutely no backstage or side of stage access. Access can change at any time and without notice.
Ticketing
If you hold a valid National Companion Card and purchase a General Admission ticket to Spilt Milk House Party, you will receive a complimentary ticket for your companion or carer.
For Newcastle – Companion Card and Accessible bookings are available through Venue Box Office for most events, simply email admin@nec.net.au for bookings and enquiries.
For Perth & Gold Coast – Accessible tickets (including Companion Cards) can be purchasing by calling our Customer Service team on the Accessible Bookings line Monday-Sunday 9am-5pm AEST: 1300 446 925. This phone number is reserved for patrons with accessibility requirements and companion cardholders and cannot process any other ticketing requests. Accessible tickets both during presale and the general public sale period, can also be requested via Ticketmaster’s Submit a request – Ticketmaster Help. Please be sure to include your relevant presale code with your request if wanting to make a booking during the presale period.
To print, or not to print. That is the question. Your phone is good to go, unless your screen is smashed to smithereens – then you should definitely bring a printed copy. Otherwise, download your ticket and save to wallet ahead of the event.

Afterpay
Newcastle, Gold Coast and Perth can use Afterpay payment plan through Ticketmaster and Ticketek.
- Add Spilt Milk House Party tickets to your cart and head to the checkout. Only the total purchase amounts that qualify will be offered the option to pay using Afterpay.
- Select Afterpay at the checkout to pay for your purchase.
- You can manage your orders and payments in the Afterpay app.

Afterpay is a payment method that allows you to pay for your tickets in four instalments every two weeks, interest free. Afterpay handles all payment related matters, and Ticketmaster or Ticketek will handle the tickets.

For large and popular events like Spilt Milk House Party, we would recommend signing up to Afterpay in advance as the checkout timer will continue as you go through the Afterpay process. If you exceed the time limit, the tickets will be released. If you would like to sign up in advance, you can do so on the Afterpay website.
What should I do if I have a problem with my Afterpay account or payment?

Ticketmaster (Perth and Gold Coast) and Ticketek (Newcastle) are the official and only ticketing outlets for Spilt Milk House Party 2024! If you see Spilt Milk House Party tickets being sold anywhere else, there is no way for us to validate them. We highly recommend creating a Ticketmaster or Ticketek account before tickets go on sale, so you can keep track of confirmations and save yourself time when buying tickets. It also makes it easier if you need to change names or re-send the ticket to yourself down the track!
You can purchase up to 8 tickets in the general sale and presale.

Ticketmaster is the official and only ticket outlet for Spilt Milk House Party’s Perth and Gold Coast events, and Ticketek is the official and only ticket outlet for Spilt Milk House Party Newcastle. Keep an eye on our website and socials for details about official resale channels once the events are sold out.
Selling tickets through any third-party website, including Viagogo, Facebook, Gumtree, and eBay, goes against the Spilt Milk House Party ticket T&Cs. By the same token, we recommend against buying tickets from the above third-party platforms as there’s no guarantee they’re a) legit tickets, or b) that the seller hasn’t resold one valid ticket to multiple people and there is no way for us to validate them.
Spilt Milk House Party staff and security cannot accept illegitimate and invalid tickets.
Don’t stress! Tickets are being kept safe and sound at Ticketmaster and Ticketek HQ and will be sent out closer to the event date. Ticketek: Newcastle
Please download the Ticketek app and you can share tickets in the ticket holder’s name. There is no fee to do this.
Ticketmaster: Perth and Gold Coast
There is no way to change the name on a printed ticket, as the name on the ticket will not affect who is admitted to the event. As long as the person attending the event has the valid ticket in their possession there will be no problems with them using it to gain entry to the event.
