Not sure what to do on the eve of Spilt Milk? Homegrown producer Blanke, took us around Canberra to show you some of his favourites after dark venues.
Lazy-Su’s daughter… or little sister? I’m not totally sure but it’s definitely no compromise. A little bit of a more relaxed vibe but the food is amazing and their chicken wings are UNREAL. Lazy-Su was my favourite for a long time but now it’s created its own competition.

I remember getting back from LA and having one of their greasy classic beef burgers. Not sure if it was the jet lag and lack of sleep but it definitely rivalled the ones I had in the States. Their brews are unreal too. My favourite burger joint in Canberra for sure.

I love me an Old Fashioned and these guys know how to do a great one. Highball have these mini barrels behind the bar, and I’m not sure what their deal is, but when they make me a drink from their barrel juice it’s 100% delicious all of the time.

My clubbing home in Canberra. Perfectly sized, eclectic but grungy vibe, and of course, my kind of music! It’s the most supportive and forward thinking club in Canberra by bringing in dance acts & djs from all over the country (and the world). Have had many wavy nights here… and I’m totally okay with that.
For somewhere dark & dancy, there’s Mr Wolf + #inspo
